Have a Stress Free Engagement Party

There seems to be so much work that needs to be done after your guy proposed and the engagement has been finalized. The challenges will keep on coming until the day you say "I do". But don't be deterred just because you need to keep your hands on these many tasks that will follow. One way to alleviate the worrisome upcoming events is to put fun in everything you do- from planning your engagement party to the wedding day itself.

One of the best ways to celebrate your engagement is to have an engagement party. Traditionally, an engagement party is planned and thrown to celebrate a couple's engagement and to help the future wedding guests get to know one another. The party is usually hosted by the parents of the bride but nowadays many couples actually host their own parties.
An engagement party doesn't have to be elaborate and most people would agree that this event should be more relaxed and casual than the wedding itself. With that said, it's off to your parents' homes first before anything else.

Now that you are engaged, surely you will want to share the good news with your circle of friends, co-workers and extended family. An engagement party is a great way for your friends and family to get to know your partner's friends and family so be sure not to leave anyone out when sending the invitations.

Just a suggestion you can even have your engagement party at the beach since its almost summer and let those skins soaked in the heat of sun and be at your sexiest swimming tops and trunks.

By the way for engagement rings, you can go for wide bands, geometric, chunky or the not so chunky. For me, men must always remember who our best friend is. Besides, diamonds are forever so, think of it as a good investment too. Seriously though, here’s a tip for guys: consider how the wedding ring will complement her engagement ring or vice versa, should you buy them separately. Those rings should compliment any other jewelry in any ensemble.

  1. I agree with you, engagement parties can be hassle free as long as you plan it ahead of time or maybe at least try to ask for help from your family and friends.
